We recently sampled 10 diesel fuel tanks for the State of Washington. You can see the striking visual variation in color and quality of the samples. Obviously the darker and murkier samples show evidence of pollution in the tank. Can you tell which of the samples contain non-dyed fuel?

We wanted to share a couple pics from a job we did for the Everett Filter Plant. This involved maintaining a surge tower using a lift enabling us to maintain the tank. We also fabricated and installed fuel containment assemblies for this tower tank. No matter the size or nature of the task, Northwest Environmental Services is ready to take it on.
In June of 2011, The Port of Tacoma enlisted NES to service 20 strad carriers. “Strad” is short for straddle as they straddle their payload of 40-foot containers. These carriers move containers throughout the port and are integral to site operations. We completed fuel polishing and tank cleaning on both tanks of each carrier, ensuring smooth operation of these important pieces of equipment.
